FRESCO UPDATE

Plans are underway to relocate the Ben Long frescoes from storage in Charlotte to Rumple, where they will be permanently installed. We have had meetings at Rumple with the heads of both the moving company and the fabricating company to discuss how best to get the frescoes into the building along with where and how they will be mounted. All of this is being coordinated with John Calvin and Terry Lentz. Additionally, we had a meeting here with the artist, Ben Long. We showed him where we would mount the frescoes and our plans for becoming a part of the High Country, Ben Long Fresco Trail. Ben is very excited about having his frescoes relocated at Rumple and in Blowing Rock where he previously lived and still has friends.
