Youth Group

Rumple’s youth program, known simply as Rumple Youth, is offered for students in grades 6 through 12 with a focus on fellowship, education, and community outreach. Led by our Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries, Lindsey Eaton, and supported by our Youth Committee members and parish associate pastors, this program provides a safe space for youth to grow in their personal faith. Rumple Youth hosts a variety of events and opportunities to get involved throughout the year.

Sunday Evenings

Youth Fellowship meets on Sunday evenings from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. for a time of fun, food, faith sharing, Bible study, movies, and conversation. Dinner is provided weekly, and Rumple youth members are encouraged to invite friends from outside of Rumple.

Youth Weekday Fellowship

Even though school keeps our youth busy during the week, they do get together from time to time for breakfast before school or treats afterward at local restaurants and coffee shops near the high school.

Community Outreach

Rumple Youth is actively involved in several community outreach programs through the church. Some of the activities include volunteering for the Blowing Rock Cares food pantry, volunteering at Rise Against Hunger, and decorating the church float for the annual Blowing Rock Christmas Parade.

Holidays and Special Events

In addition to our regular Sunday evening meetings and community outreach opportunities, Rumple Youth members also spend time fellowshipping with each other through the holidays and special events. Highlights include the annual Christmas party, Super Bowl party, and summer gatherings. Our youth also typically attend the Montreat Youth Conference each summer.

Communication

The main communication method for Rumple Youth is through a group messaging app called GroupMe. If you are interested in receiving these communications, please contact Lindsey.
