APNC Search Update

The Associate Pastor nominating committee, four members from Rumple and three from the campus ministry, completed the MDP and submitted it to our presbytery liaison at the Salem Presbytery on Thursday, June 18.

Our presbytery liaison forwarded it to a committee that will review it and either accept it as is or recommend changes. MDP stands for Ministry Discernment Profile. Within that document, we defined the job duties and expectations, salary, background information about Rumple, etc. After the MDP is accepted, it will be posted on the CLC (Church Leadership Connection). This is the portal the Presbytery uses to advertise jobs. We are awaiting word from the presbytery about our next training, which should include analyzing applicants and interviewing expectations. After that next training, we hope to begin reviewing pastors’ resumes and starting initial interviews.
