Lent Prayer Invitation

Throughout Lent the Rumple family is invited to join in a tangible prayer process as we journey through the darkness to Easter new life.

Small, heart shaped pieces of seed paper will be available in the sanctuary throughout Lent. You are invited to offer a prayer and add a heart to the Lent cross. Any and all prayers are welcome and encouraged- prayers of hope, of struggle, of thanksgiving, of confession. Throughout Lent, as more and more folks add their prayers to the cross, it will become visibly lighter.

Then, during the Easter season, the children and staff of our Wednesday after school program will take all of the hearts, representing our prayers, and plant them on the Rumple campus. Flowers will then bloom and grow a visual and ongoing symbol of the light that shines from the darkness.
