Avery is the Communications and Membership Coordinator for Rumple. While her family are now High County locals, she was born and raised in Cary, NC. Avery earned her degree in Communications and Digital Marketing from Appalachian State University in May 2025.

Avery is newly married to Spencer Bechtol, who she met while attending App State, and they live in downtown Boone while Spencer attends grad school. She enjoys shopping, cooking, spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, and watching TV shows.

What do you like most about winter in the high country?

I love snow! Skiing, playing, building snowmen, you name it, I love snow.

What is your Favorite Candy?

Almond Joy candy bar.

Why did you choose Rumple?

I have many connections that said wonderful things about the church and the people. Once I met the team and many members, I can confirm it was true. Rumple is the right spot for me to grow in my faith and professionally!
