Care in the Hard Seasons of Life- Rescheduled to May 15
Most of us have sat with someone in a hard season — a hospital room, a home filled with grief, a conversation that left us not quite knowing what to say. We showed up because we cared, and sometimes that felt like enough. Sometimes it didn’t.
The Congregational Care and Adult Education Committees, along with the Visitation Team are inviting everyone to join for a conversation about what it means to visit well — what helps, what doesn’t, and what we do with what those visits leave in us. Dr. Jackie Henry, a licensed clinical psychologist and member of our wider community, will guide us through an honest, practical, and unhurried conversation. No clinical background needed. Just a willingness to care more thoughtfully. This Seminar will be held on Friday, May 15 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in the Gathering Space. If you would like more information, or are planning to join us, please contact Dave Henry or the church office.
