Presbyterian Women

Rumple has an active Presbyterian Women’s group. We currently have three circles that focus on fellowship, Bible and Christian-themed book studies, and service to our congregation and community.

Through the Church Mouse program, circle members maintain communication with our recent high school graduates. They send cards, words of encouragement, and sometimes small gifts each month to these young adult church members so they will know—whether near or far—that their Rumple family remembers and cares for them.

Circle 1

Circle 1 meets the first Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. either in a member’s home or at Rumple. This circle’s projects include Easter baskets for Ransom Street residents, Angel Tree gifts at Christmas for families in our community, and remembrance gifts for members of Rumple who are in extended care. If you’d like to get involved with Circle 1, please email Adele Dunbar.

Circle 4

Circle 4 meets the second Monday of each month at 2:00 p.m. on the church campus. This circle’s projects include Christmas gifts for those in the Social Services Elderberry program and other community mission projects. If you’d like to get involved with Circle 4, please email Holly D’Addurno.

Circle 5

Circle 5 meets the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. on the church campus. This circle enjoys having a dinner for the ASU students every fall, supporting Children’s Hope Alliance, and supporting other community missions projects. If you’d like to get involved with Circle 5, please email Kathy Earley.

Annual Meeting

Presbyterian Women holds an annual meeting each fall that includes a special recognition of that year’s recipient of the Honorary Life Membership during the worship service and a reception immediately following for the recipient of the honor.

If you’d like to know more about Presbyterian Women, please contact this year’s moderator Cristy McKinney.
