The Bible and Art

This winter, explore the Bible through the lens of art in a special series led by Rumple’s own Davis Hankins, Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Director of the Center for Judaic, Holocaust and Peace Studies.

The class meets Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in Room 3 of the Cannon Education Building, with a Zoom option available, and will continue through March 1.

Davis describes the focus of the class this way: “Art has been a primary medium for Christians’ encounters with biblical texts and characters over the centuries.”
