What do you like most about winter in the high country?
“The majesty and grace of the snow covered mountains. Driving in the snow is also fun because my mom never let me do that when I was a teenager. Even now she ‘suggests’ I should stay home. Sorry, Mom!”
What is your Favorite Candy?
“My favorite candy is Mounds.”
Why did you choose Rumple?
“I found Rumple when I heard of the opening for the Director of Music and called the church to recommend one of my former students who was studying Organ at App State. It didn’t work out for him, but I began a conversation that resulted in taking the position. The original plan was to commute for three years until my wife retired and then move to the High Country. Due to other family members’ relocation and becoming comfortable with the commute, I decided to stay, and the church keeps getting better and better. I’m very happy at Rumple!”
