The Bible Tells Me So: A Summer With the Bible

On Sunday, June 15, Rumple began a summer sermon series on the Bible. The series will continue through mid-September. In addition to Sunday morning sermons, Dr. Davis Hankins, Rumple member and Associate Professor of Religious Studies and Director of the Center for Judaic, Holocaust and Peace Studies at Appalachian State, will also teach a class Wednesday mornings.

Davis’s next class will be held on Wednesday, July 23 at 9:30 a.m. in Room 5 of the Education Building. He will teach on the book of the Bible currently being explored in worship. Davis and Kathy have also created a resource guide for folks who want to do additional study and research outside of his class and Sunday worship. To join by Zoom, please click here.
