Longest Night Service at Boone UMC

Christmas can be a painful time for some. Whether it’s the first Christmas without a loved one, the anguish of broken relationships, the insecurity of unemployment, the weariness of ill health, or the pain of isolation, for many reasons the Christmas season may not be one filled with joy and happiness.

Join our community on the longest night of the year, Thursday, Dec. 19, at 6:30 pm, in the Boone UMC Sanctuary, as we learn coping strategies and worship together, acknowledging our grief and celebrating Christ, the light that shines in the darkness. A cookie reception follows the service.
